In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of top food delivery apps on iOS in Egypt revealed interesting trends. Here's a closer look at the download and active user patterns for the leading apps based on Sensor Tower's data.

talabat: Food, grocery & more experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting strong with over 22K downloads and peaking at 31K in mid-July. By the end of September, downloads had slightly declined to approximately 14.9K. Meanwhile, weekly active users showed a more stable pattern, with numbers hovering around 1M, ending the quarter at roughly 1.03M.

Breadfast: Groceries And More saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at about 7.5K and reaching over 11K by early September. The app maintained a stable user base with active users growing steadily from 151K to over 194K throughout the quarter.

instashop: Groceries & more maintained a consistent weekly download rate, fluctuating between 4.8K and 5.7K. Active users showed a slight decline from 153K to 145K by the end of the quarter.

Rabbit: 20 mins delivery had a varied download pattern, starting at 5.1K, dipping in late July, and recovering to end the quarter at about 5.1K. The app's active users saw a decline from 43K to 38K.
